How do we change a direct speech into indirect speech

Dalam mengubah direct speech menjadi indirect speech,, ada beberapa hal yang harus di perhatikan, yaitu :
Pada direct speech menggunakan tanda kutip dua sedangkan indirect speech tidak. Jadi tanda kutip duanya harus dihilangkan. Pada indirect speech ditambahkan kata penghubung 'that', namun kata 'that ini tidak harus ada.

How to make an indirect speech

Sebuah kalimat tak langsung tidak berada di antara tanda kutip. Biasanya kalimat tak langsung di ikuti oleh kata "that". Namun kata "that" ini bisa saja di pakai atau tidak, tergantung dari kalimatnya.
contoh yang menggunakan 'that' :  Sinta told me that her book was losed.
contoh yang tidak menggunakan 'that' : Ani ask why riko was absent.

An indirect speech is a sentence that telled to report the words of the speaker to another person.(Sebuah kalimat tak langsung adalah kalimat yang di ucapkan untuk melaporkan kata-kata si pembicara kepada orang lain). An indirect speech was quoted by someone's words by changing the words but not changing the meaning. (Sebuah kalimat tak langsung di kutip dari kata-kata seseorang dengan mengubah kata-katanya tapi tidak mengubah artinya).

How to make a direct speech
